The Friars’ Briar would love to announce that the bonspiel will take place on March 2-6, 2026 in Kelowna, BC. Please follow along for more details.

The Friars’ Briar Bonspiel in Kelowna, BC, will begin on Monday, March 2, 2026 with an opening ceremony and first draw at approximately 2:30 p.m. followed by supper at the rink. There will be two draws per day on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday with a banquet at the rink on Thursday night. You will have some spare time to explore Kelowna on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings. There is a Friday morning final game followed by the awards luncheon, which should wrap up by 1:30.

Registration Opens November 1st, 2025
The Friars’ Briar Bonspiel in Kelowna, BC, will begin on Monday, March 2, 2026. Plan to arrive by 1:30 p.m. on Monday, March 2, and depart after 4:00 p.m. on Friday, March 6. We plan to coordinate shuttles from the airport.
